My family had a weakness for quality cookbooks and every year we add a few new ones to our collection. This year my mom and I were transfixed by A Country Cook’s Kitchen and just had to get it (being on sale only justified our decision).
After we opened it on Christmas and expressed our delight at Santa dropping off a lovely new recipe book by sister became inspired to try a few of the ideas. Now she is a bit notorious for her baking… Like forgetting sugar in the cake or mistaking powdered sugar for flour. That’s why I have to share with the world her achievement! Look below:
